Chef Colin McGowan
Chef Colin McGowan has worked in several of Atlanta’s top fine dining restaurants including Bacchanalia, Restaurant Eugene and Kimball House and also founded the acclaimed 14 Seats Supper Club. At Cattle Shed, McGowan aims to make worldly cuisine both cohesive and fun by creating a menu of a la carte charcuterie, small tasting plates, premium steaks and other entrées that pair with the restaurant’s list of nearly 200 wines. His dishes are meant to fluctuate with what farmers are bringing out of the ground. McGowan brings back the sense of occasion to the dining experience, minus the stuffiness.
General Manager Chris Reid
For more than 20 years, Chris Reid has brought his passion for wine and great hospitality to work, turning everyday experiences into memorable encounters. At Cattle Shed, he brings his background at wine-focused restaurants like Crú Food & Wine Bar, 101 Steak, Cibo e Beve and Murphy’s, along with his numerous accolades from Wine Spectator and Wine Enthusiast, to assist the service team and diners in creating memorable dinners.
Big Table Restaurants, owned by the husband and wife team of Sean and Becky Yeremyan, opened our first restaurant in Midtown in 2010 and have grown to Two concepts and five locations.
HOBNOB is a "spirited" place, featuring one of the largest collections of bourbon and whiskey in the Southeast. We have locations in Brookhaven, Dunwoody, Alpharetta and Atlantic Station. We were thrilled to be named one of the Best Burgers in Atlanta in 2019 by the readers of the Atlanta Journal Constitution!
Cattle Shed Wine & Steak bar is located in Alpharetta’s Halcyon center, serving a collection of seasonal, chef-driven dishes, including premium steak cuts, small plates, and charcuterie boards, along with an immense selection of wines.
In 2019, Big Table Restaurants/HOBNOB was honored as a Pacesetter Award finalist by the Atlanta Business Chronicle as one of the fastest growing restaurants in Atlanta. We are thrilled to share this special honor with our guests who have made it all possible.

About the Owner
Sean Yeremyan was born and raised in Turkey with Greek and Armenian heritage. These combined cultures helped foster a love for food at an early age. He studied hospitality in Turkey, Brussels and eventually at Mercer University in the United States, settling in Atlanta in 1997. Although Yeremyan has lived all around the world, he brought a taste of his heritage to Atlanta with the opening of Gilbert’s with his brother Gilbert in Midtown in 2000, first as an international gourmet market and then as a restaurant and bar in 2001. In 2013 he and Gilbert opened 10th & Piedmont restaurant in Midtown. Today, he continues to refine the neighborhood tavern concept with HOBNOB, and has also created Cattle Shed Wine & Steak Bar.
Named a 2010 finalist for the Georgia Restaurant Association’s prestigious INNOVATOR Award, Yeremyan is proud to provide a warm and inviting atmosphere with unconditional hospitality for the surrounding neighborhoods to enjoy lunch, dinner and brunch while watching sports or before attending a nearby movie or theatre.
